ELLANOR BOEHNING - USA
US FEI PONY RIDER & JUNIOR RIDER, 2018 USEF PONY RIDER DRESSAGE NATIONAL CHAMPION
Ellanor is currently 14 years old and began competing on her 11 hand welsh pony Brown Sugar at the age of 5. She grew up as an active member of the United States Pony Club getting a diverse background of riding disciplines and horse management. In 2013 at the age of 7 she was the overall division winner at the Lendon Gray’s Youth Dressage Festival in Saugerties, NY. Along with her two siblings, the trio “Sibling Rivalry” were the Youth Team Champions of all divisions.
Due to Ellanor’s size riding ponies has been a natural fit. Ellanor and her German Riding Pony Kabam, (previously a combined driving pony) were the 2018 US Pony Champions, the USEF First Level Youth Champions, along with several state and regional titles. She was honored to be invited and participate in the 2019 Robert Dover Horsemastership Clinic held in Wellington.
As Ellanor ages out of FEI Ponies she is now focusing her attention on her newly purchased 7 year old Hanoverian gelding DaVinci BB. The pair look forward to competing in the FEI Junior Division this year.
Ellanor trains with Mette Rosencrantz at her family’s new facility B&B Farm in Rancho Santa Fe, CA.
